Volunteer Opportunities

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Southern Arizona provides a safe, compassionate, and healing environment to children who have been a victim or witness of a crime. We provide 24/7 emergency services including forensic interviews, medical exams, and family advocacy support. We also have a growing prevention and education program that provides trauma-informed parenting classes, a VOICES council, and community education around ACES, Resilience, Trauma-Informed Care, and Strengthening Families.

Support Volunteer

  • Volunteers provide support to the work of the center by assisting with childcare and resource requests, making phone calls, maintaining the resource and family rooms, providing program assistance to on-going classes and workshops including office tasks, and assisting with community outreach events.

  • Volunteers are required to possess a current Arizona fingerprint clearance card, pass a background check, complete an application, and attend a volunteer orientation, offered virtually.

  • Volunteers may select a shift to serve during the work week of Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be available.

  • Volunteering is in-person at the Children's Advocacy Center at 2329 E Ajo Way, Tucson. Occasionally, there may be outreach events in the community as well.
